I was right with you. The first time Bush conflated Saddam and Iraq with 9/11, I did a double take, and wondered, "Where the hell did THAT come from?". Within a week or so, it was obvious to me that Bush was going to exploit America's fear and anger over 9/11 to take some military action in Iraq. I saw it for the con it was from the very beginning. The proof is in the posts I made on these very threads.
