It's easy to "figure things out" when all the conclusions are scripted in advance. Actually, it doesn't seem to be so easy for a professional. The language about Jerusalem being the capital of Israel has been in Republican and Democratic platforms for a long time now, yet the US embassy remains in Tel Aviv, and Tel Aviv is still "officially" the capital of Israel as far as US law is concerned. Yet they still make a big deal about the language in the platform. Why didn't Reagan or one of the Bush's move the capital if it was so gawdawful significant? They continue to be absurd to just about everyone except for the true believers.
