Not a hard fix ... Just do an additional charge for contempt of court (disobeying an order, or whatever) and proceed with the murder case, with stated intentions to try the contempt charge separately after the murder case. When he is convicted on the murder case, drop the additional charge .. Certainly this idiot's insistence on growing a beard could not possibly help his case in the long run, even if allowed to keep it through the trial. This getting all wrapped around the axles about the idiot's behavior .. is just delaying justice for the victims and their families.
