They have a saying in the poker community that high stakes players that are drinkers end up playing 2/4 in old age. That is a super low game.

I have been smoking pot off and on for 50 years and am almost 71 now. I went on the road a few years ago for the winter, playing the biggest limit games I could find (15/30 to $50/$100) on the west coast between Seattle and the Bay area and made a good living. Felt I was at the top of my game.

I don't think pot harms the brain a bit and science says the same thing. But I am also not a drinker and never even had alcohol in my house until I was 60 and never did any other drugs, including smoking. Just a little pot once in a while.

I think sentient beings are hippies and they gave it to us because they like us. Sure makes old age easier to deal with. More fun and less aches and pains.

We called them grass insights in my hippie days:

Had this thought. Think about how good crabs taste, all crabs, yet they all taste so different. How can they all taste so differently, yet all be better tasting than any other food??

That is sort of weird. Dungies, king and tanner all taste great. Better than any food I know of. All taste better than lobster and they all taste really different??
