On Shorting !
I would like Mike Harb also to do a course on this issue -

I feel that there are many (as I) to whom this shorting is unclear.

If I have understod a little of it then:

MM selling a qty of shares he has NOT got on hand is shorting.
If he at the end of a day is in negative holdings he has to report it.
If he reports it it is not illegal ? or ?

This is the point my tape jumps off

Say he shorts during the day - He will imediate have to raise his bid to get to zero balance - He's risk is that he cannot buy without loss.

With ARET we have seen upwards moves over a day or two of up to 200%.
Which MM would risk shorting ?

Or have I got it all wrong ??????
