Kollhmhn...I a lot of people are missing the value in warrants. They do this more often now. IT does not dilute the existing estate. Like an out of the money call option. The time premium can worth a lot. And that's how they price them, via option models. GM's recovery to the unsecured was over half warrants, and A and B. We got very little common. But it was in the $30's, if I remember. This is what I'd fight for in if an equity committee is established. The existing holders get a "fair", or so it is said, recovery of the estate. In maybe the 2nd lien case all the common. But the preferred could get an out of the money warrant/s.
