While I am not entirely impressed by Governor Romney, he has several characteristics that make him ideally suited to the post.

Leadership:
  • He rescued a nearly bankrupt Salt Lake City Olympics.
  • He was the leader of a large group of employees to split from Bain & Company
  • Under his leadership Bain Capital helped create thousands of jobs.
  • He was the lay leader of his religious center
  • He successfully worked with the nearly implacable democrats while Governor of one of the most liberal states in the nation.
  • Many more examples
Fiscal discipline:
  • As Governor of uber-liberal Massachusetts he entered with a $3B deficit and left with a $2B rainy day fund without raising taxes.
  • He rescued a nearly bankrupt Salt Lake City Olympics.
  • He picked the most informed fiscal conservative as a running mate.
RIght now it is imperative to remove Obama from office by supporting anyone else who can win. The disaster has to end. January is as soon as he can be legally removed from office given the Senate is controlled by democrats.

Compared to the man whose off teleprompter comments reveal things about how he thinks that shock most people in America, Mitt Romney is mainstream.

can't wait for the VP debates. What a slaughter it's going to be.
I'll second that thought.
