Also, Romney has a tendency to fold when hit.
We tend to read the same stuff so I recall that as being he does so when he gets a surprise hit. If that's the case, then he goes back from the first debate and prepares, hard, for the next. And comes back a better debater.

Obama is not the best debater around. So the debates could wind up a draw.
