And it rather neatly explains all the birthirism, and the "he's a Muslim" garbage- because they really don't think this very cultured part white American man, with an American family, is an "American". And it's mostly because he's a liberal black. If he were one of their own rarities- a conservative black- they'd love him to death. But he's not. So he must not be an American, according to the wingnuts and baggers.
