Gerald, Is anyone foolish enough to vote big labor any more. Have they not seen how the UAW/USW etc have exported millions of US jobs by monster wage demands. The autoworkers now get huge benefits and wages, but they have lost 75% of their workers to the japs/koreans/euros and faster machines. Of course the UAW does not care about junior workers, they have no seniority. Ever notive the high age of UAW workers? Whey they kill a factory few get new jobs. Even here in Canada no-one will hire an ex autoworker, because they feel he might get recalled and vanish instantly, or agitate to get the UAW(CAW) into the workplace. Owners check references with great care when they hire here to keep them out. Canada has a higher % union workforce, and thus suffers more wage inequity. Every year more companies with unions close and the unions try to get service workers organized. The Canadian people are getting anti union. The Americans alread are. If Gephard plays the union fiddle he will not get elected as people want less unions at all levels.
