Had couple college level bio and organic chem classes too before I picked a major. A lot of subjects can be interesting if presented the right way, but these sure weren't when I was in college

As an engineering major, you had to take one humanities/social science course per semester. I recall taking Economics one semester only to be confronted with an instructor who had it in for engineers. Turns out, he originally was an engineering major who couldn't cut it and had to transfer out. Thus guy made it so obvious that he actually stated in class that "you people don't really expect to get much better than a C, do you?" Several students just got up and left. I stuck it out but was very fortunate to get a B. Never made that mistake again.
