OK so here goes. I have not yet heard Obama run down Carter by labeling Crater and his policies a failure. But here, Romney is running down Bush. I wonder why. Maybe tying him to Bush is working with the American people.

Besides MM, do you really think that with Romney already defined by the Obama campaign and during the primary debate (10,000 dollar bet etc.) as someone rich, when he starts to talk about the middle class that talk carries any weight with the American people. Romney can never come across as appealing to the people the moment he starts to advocate for the middle class. There is already a lot of anger out there against him by the working class. Maybe that is why they are thinking of giving up in PA, MI and OH. The working class in these states will ridicule Adelson and Romeny ads. So, the good businessmen they are, they are not going to spend the amount of ad dollars in these states as they had originally intended to do.

From this graph it is very evident that there was a unprecedented climb in unemployment when Obama came into and was settling down in office. Notice what Bush inherited in 2000. What a sharp contrast. Also noptice what Bush did to unemployment after 4 years in office and notice what Obama did.

How do Romney's positions differ from Bush's? Not at all, that I can see.
