Hi, Carol!! Okay, I read your url and it looks like Canadian Thanksgiving is fashioned more after the traditional harvest celebrations everywhere rather than one event, like our Pilgrims being saved from starvation by the Indians at Plymouth. I was reading around in the url you provided, and discovered that after the Indians taught them how to plant corn there were still lots of deaths, so they buried people under the corn seed mounds like the fish the Indians taught them to use to fertilize the corn. Those Pilgrims had a lot to be thankful for, especially for the Indians to help them survive.

Does anyone know more than this story provides about the Indians who were arrested in Plymouth this week, incidentally? I would love to know what really happened in more detail:

I'm sorry I missed the dancing and the free beer, Carol! I have no computer skills whatsoever, so just the amazing fact that you can make a picture glisten like a real sparkling stone is amazing to me.

You like mining exploration stocks? You are a lot braver than I am, and I am totally foolhardy when it comes to investing (without a net)!

Are there a couple you'd like to tell us about?
