Healthy looking lemon grass. You probably eat a lot of that in Hawaii and may not know it.

I have some in the dehydrator overnight. Makes a fine tea too.

TRICARE is used for medical care by active duty and retired military families.
You may recall an earlier post in which I pointed out that TRICARE Co-pays have been rising due to a shortage of funds. This post explains where the TRICARE money is really going and why the increases were inappropriate.

NAUS has reported that the Pentagon has requested reprogramming $708 million from the TRICARE account for use in other DoD programs including payment for high-priced biofuels ($26 a gallon versus gasoline-type fuels at $4 a gallon). We have also learned that DoD reprogrammed $1.36 billion from the TRICARE account in fiscal 2011 and $770 million in 2010. In total, over $3 billion of Defense Health System funds have or will be diverted from what the funding was requested for. The issue is not over nor has DoD yet answered the inquiry from Congress on why this much money has been diverted.

Why is this addressed to Mitt Romney? The only one of the two candidates to have actually worked in their life.
