We said here at the time of the Afghan surge that it was a waste of men and money. That's exactly what if has been. Obama did it because he promised and he was pressured by the DOD Generals.

I blame those Generals now as much as the ones during Vietnam were to blame. The "no-balls" mentality that makes it to four star is outrageous.

Fortunately, this just don't work in Private Industry. When Lew Platt took over from Dave Packard, this sentiment was not acceptable.
