I think it's Gary Johnson who I heard say that the first time he smoked dope he realized that everything the government had said about it was not so. My experience also. So if they lied about pot, what else might they be lying about is a contributing rationale to the next reasonable step for a curious kid. "keeping the people who are doing the fighting gainfully employed" This is exactly what it has come to be about, it would be hard to come to any other conclusion. Perpetual war. Good for the economy.
