In a rare interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Mitt Romney offered praise for some of President Obama’s policies, and said he would retain some aspects of his health care overhaul

Romney is no libertarian, and not philosophically clearly pro small government. He is an executive. But hopefully, a good one, who understands the importance of not overwhelming the system with excessive top down controls and regulations.

Controls and regulations are the key. Too many of them will turn any democratic government into a de facto despotism.
