I read that bill. It was crafted by seven of the most partisan Democrats in the senate. Reid allowed no amendments. It had absolutely no chance of passing the House. It was obviously moved forward as a campaign ploy by the Dems. I kind of thought there might have been more to it than the article suggested. I actually looked around for a link to the bill itself, but couldn't even find the exact title or number for it. I just think news accounts of this kind of stuff are usually terribly misleading and if you don't do you did and go to the source, there is a good chance of misunderstanding what actually happened. I guess you kind of proved that point.
