I still think Samsung is not going to let Nokia walk away with the W8 winnings.

In the US, a customer being confronted with a W8 phone that's a clone of the top of the line Samsung Android is going to be more tempted to go that tried and true route, than the - now to most US customers - "new" unknown and untried Nokia vendor.

Donno about the rest of the world. Shall see...

Avoiding Android where Samsung is taking all the share? At least with WP8 they have a shot at being the top dog in that ecosystem

But if they are tied to Softy, they cant take any of the users who like the phone but want Android. I would have thought that having an Android version in addition to WP8 would not cost too much more to do.

Its having WP8 only that i don't understand
