Debasing the currency with "free money for all" is the only economic policy known to liberals... and other failed political ideologies.

Austerity... the policy that built this nation from the earliest days is an absolute abhorrent to today's liberal.

Besides... those EU member nations are not broken... They just need some more "other people's money".

Ten, the Euro in recent weeks 'recovered' (as they say here) from .83 to the USD to whopping .78 vs. the Greenback!!!

Totally ridiculous as the recession is rolling in over us including here in Germany, where some of the Bosch automotive production facilities are already back on short hours.

Now hopefully it drops back tomorrow, when the German High Court in Karlsruhe comes out with their verdict on to what extent the latest Draghi decisions violate German law or not.

Also that will be a true acid test on the level of German legislative independency of and separation from German politics.

(NEWSER) – Even Britney Spears loves Korean rapper Psy's outrageously popular "Gangnam Style," and in an episode of Ellen DeGeneres' talk show airing today, Brit gets to learn how to do the video's now-famous "horse dance." Gawker and Reddit spotted the clip, which is mostly hilarious—but also a little sad, thanks to a drugged-looking Britney who totally gets upstaged in the dancing category by both Psy and Ellen. Psy's advice on pulling off the dance? "Dress classy, dance cheesy." Bonus: Fellow guest Simon Cowell, who calls Psy's song "brilliant" but is clearly much too important to get up off the couch and learn the dance himself.

RESPONDS TO QUESTION ABOUT WOMAN LACKING 'RESPECT'

(NEWSER) – Got marital problems? Pat Robertson to the rescue! When a caller asked Robertson what to do about a wife who lacks "respect for me as the head of the house," the televangelist had some advice: "You could become a Muslim and you could beat her." He suggested the woman had been a "rebellious child," continuing, "I don’t think we condone wife-beating these days, but something has got to be done to make her."

Robertson's co-host on The 700 Club, Terry Meeuwsen, laughed at the comment but tried to steer him back toward reality, the Huffington Post reports. "You can't divorce her, according to the scripture," Robertson continued, so "move to Saudi Arabia!" Click for more of Robertson's musings on Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow, oral sex, pot, Alzheimer's, and of course, mac and cheese.

Ted, there are fundamental problems with many of the EU member nations. Broken economies all around. All this "stimulus" and quantitative easing is just kicking the can down the road.

Uh..........there has been no stimulus or quantitative easing in Europe like in the US. That's been the problem. The Germans have demanded austerity to the point of obsession and its killing the weakest economies.

And let me add, Spain was one of the strongest economies when the recession started with the smallest ratio between deficits and GDP as compared to the rest of Europe and the US. Four years of austerity have turned Spain into a third world economy.

Didn't know that, did you Tenchu?

But hey, let's create the European Bernanke. Great idea; I could use a discount on my next trip to Europe.

Its the only thing that will save Europe at this point. Finally, Merkel gets it.
