The intention of the message was to show him some distance (perhaps incommensurable). Sorry for the jargon. BTW, the links you posted must talk about some kind of jokes. With current interrupt processing in Windoses (via Deferred Procedure Calls), it is hardly possible to get any real-time performance, especially from the legacy SandBlaster hardware.
