Yep, so far he has been Mr. Nice Guy telling us what a wonderful man Obama is.

What does that have to do with his failure as a President?

Only a couple weeks until the first debate.

People say that the debates do not win an election. Generally, that may be correct, but:

Reagan was an exception against Carter. Of course, he debated very well.

Romney must suck it up the rest of this month and in the debates if he intends to win this thing.

At this point, there are too many similarities with McCain.

Palin was out there being aggressive with a big following and McCain was doing his "my friend" thing.

Ryan is being aggressive and Romney is (fill in the blank).

Romney must win "huge" in the debates. Otherwise the MSM will call it a defeat for him or, at best, a draw.

The bumper sticker talking point crowd will go with the MSM story. As will many of these so-called Independents who are supposed to be the deciders of every presidential election.

50 million dollars or more of advertising anti-Obama statistics will not be adequate. Why? The Obama-ites continue to spread their lying statistics no matter what Romney's people put out. And MSM continues to present them as the truth.

Bad news folks. The Rasmussen one really scares me. I still think we win, but Mitt better get off his ass and quit relying on stats to pull it out for him.
We're coming off two weeks of conventions. Give it a couple weeks to settle out and we'll see where we are.

Let's not forget, Dukakis was way up in the polls much closer to the election than we are now.

If this ticket doesn't get the mid-western support it needs, I think it will mean we've crossed a serious threshold of being unable to change our path.
