Those are sentiment indicators, meaning how are people feeling. So as long as you don't confuse that with ECONOMIC indicators, then we're fine. The fact is that the even the economic indicators are worsening and not appreciably better than when he took office. This is the worst recovery in history. Things are stable, though. At least the trillions we spent got us that. But the problem is we did nothing with the time it bought us. We have not fixed a single root cause of the 2008 crisis, nor any of our structural problems. This guarantees that things will continue to get worse. Is it any wonder that Moody's is now talking about downgrading our Sovereign Debt ratings again?
