Could the 9/11 attack have been stopped, had the Bush team reacted with urgency to the warnings contained in all of those daily briefs?


All I can say is at least on 9/11 we had a President that was interested enough in the security of the country that he attended the daily security briefings..... While the previous tenants of the WH had their flaws at least you could tell that the oath of office was taken seriously:


I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.


Obama knew when he was reciting the oath of office that he had no intention of following his promise and in fact would try and do the complete opposite.
