The media is slipping into a cesspool from which there is a very limited proposition of escape. I believe that the only way they will release the reins of power is to fail. When financial destitution besets them what rises from their ashes will take the lesson of their failure into consideration. There is room for partisan media outlets. When one partisan philosophy dominates the bulk of the media then massive distrust is engendered. If there was conservative nightly news to balance the liberal spin there would be no need for conservative talk radio. Since I rarely consume the liberal media "news" presentations, their advertisers never reach me. As much money as I spend you would think that I would be an attractive advertising target. There are millions of consumers like me that the liberal media have alienated.
