There is no chance that the U.S. government will expropriate Franklin Lake because it's too close to Death Valley National Monument. If anything, the U.S. government might feign interest in the environmental impact on Franklin Lake for political reasons, while salivating about the fantastic idea of someone producing so much gold that the world-wide POG goes down to $200 per ounce (Naxos would still be highly profitable); thereby keeping this world-wide fiat money confidence game going without having to sell more central bank gold than they would have had to sell if Franklin Lake did not become a gargantuan producer of gold. The U.S. government will also be there to collect every penny of tax money that Naxos Resources can possibly pay, year after year. You can safely bet everything you have on it.

$5.5 trillion dollars in debt and the politicians are only talking about the comestics of balancing the budget. Even that's not going to be possible now because of the drain on the U.S. that the Asian countries are going to provide by much cheaper imports now that some of their currencies have been devalued. Nobody's evening trying to deal with reality: we owe $5.5 trillion dollars and nobody's talking about paying any of the $5.5 trillion dollars back. They're talking about impossible things like politicians balancing the budget. We're lucky that politicans don't run companies; they'd ruin them too.

Every time I think about what politicians have done to America to get themselves reelected it makes my blood boil.
