You are welcome. The 'light' touch was deliberate as I think it helpful whenever we are reminded indirectly, very gently, almost imperceptibly, about how lucky we truly are. To be more explicit, direct, and thus intervening, short of a shake by the shoulder or a nudge by the elbow, I do not need to remind you that there are, and shall be more and more unhappy people, everywhere, not only in cyber space but on the street. Given such expected rise in general anger level, we must particularly cherish what we have, namely whatever constitutes our basket of equanimity for our peace of mind, and, yes, sure, whenever we wish, an additional happy-enhancement, to yank on a chain to elicit a predictable response, if for nothing else than to know there is still a yelp, I.e. all is well. I m guilty of chain-yanking. It is an inexpensive act w/ a feedbck, while we re dong something else, anything else, just for the chain-effect, as watch n brief must not be 24/7. Between cyber-chain-yanking and going down to the pub for a few beers, we at times must decide which is somehow better, as we may not the type to instead walk the dog or brush the cat, and we may not be the sort to turn on cnbc. It is now 4:48am and I am doing my morning debriefing. I generally get up n about at 5:30, but usually get 8-9 hours of sleep from 9:30-5:30 plus 1 hr in the early, mid, or late afternoon. As I have no staff, I must use iPad as able assistant. (i) gold pricing - check (ii) silver mark to market - done (iii) platinum valuing - noted (iv) oil costing - yeup (v) now for the rest of what may pass for the news (vi) conclusion: progression towards teotwawki - w/i range of expectations (vii) wondering out loud: what happens on a day when presumably lagging indicator, gold, starts to anticipate the supposedly leading indicator, money printing. I wonder what the folks who are not at least hedging w/ gold are counting on? Finger stubs?
