You make good points. If government was not pushing money at the underemployed they would be more motivated to find additional income producing opportunities. Most people would be embarrassed to have the leader of their party known as the Food Stamp President. It appears that democrats embrace it.

Having only 43% of our population working full time makes it difficult to pull out of a recession.

Certainly people will have to cut the next President some slack because Obama will turn over an economy roiled by his incompetent handling of the economy. So Romney can blame Obama for the next four years?
