One officer in October, I would tend to read it as 1) option related, 2) needed money for a down payment on a new home, 3) buying the wife a heck of an nice Christmas present. To get a hint at the full story one really needs to know net proceeds from the sale.

Bob, IDEC PHARM a.r. footnote describes License fee income in detail,(not percents), but amounts receivd and from whom. On the expense side not as clear but shows $1.3 million expense for certain patent rights related to C2B8.

This method would get around inability to disclose percents due to contractual restraints, if any. It would facilitate our own calculations. Hope Xoma uses it.
