<<<<NBC has come under fire for skipping the 9/11 moment.">>>>

Count me in as a supporter of the decision by NBC. It's not that I'm unsympathetic or caring for the victims - I am. It's just that it is everywhere all the time. We're still in Afghanistan (and Iraq) and we have a whole new government agency dedicated to 9-11 in Homeland Security. They're building monuments dedicated to the victims. I'm also reminded of it every time I take off my shoes at an airport. Yesterday some networks reran the morning of 9-11 and I couldn't turn the channel fast enough.

My thinking is that more time and love and thanks should go to those fighting in Afghanistan who we seldom hear about anymore. The forgotten soldiers.

They knew what was important to the country. Isn't that what businesses are supposed to do? Please their customers?
