My AT&T contract won't allow it until next year.

Allen,

My iPhone is through my employer. I have been told through the grapevine that I will be able to upgrade come October. I haven't verified that yet for myself but if that is the case, I will be upgrading. There is no rush though since my iPhone 4 works well for what I want it to do. But it would be nice to have SIRI and play with PassPort and the new maps/directions and see how they work out. One of my colleagues has found out that he can upgrade in early October and that is what he plans to do.

My wife's iPhone is a personal phone. While her iPhone just works and works well, we plan to hand that phone down to my son once she gets a new iPhone. But again, there is no big rush.

So most likely, we will be getting 2 iPhones in the December quarter of this calendar year.

Neal

I will be getting one. My iPhone 4 home button has been acting up and I have to use the accessibility/assistive touch function to be able to have an effective home button.
