Mohan, we were out and about Friday here in Minneapolis and things were busy. CompUSA had long lines at 6 registers, Home had lines at 5 registers, the parking lots were full at the "Dale's". I have not heard how things were at the Mall of America. The weather was warm here so suspect folks were getting out. Joan

As far as shopping I don't know about elsewhere, but as a visitor this weekend to the Chicago area I'd say things are going very strong here. The radio stations are putting out "mall reports" along with weather and highway traffic, and parking spaces are nearly gone in some. Some people were waiting outside a Walmart at 4:30 a.m. for its 6:30 opening to get some Christmas specials.
