No, it doesn't "change everything." But it does change some things. And the relevant phrase in your post is "The Libyan gov't, (what there is of it),". No, I don't think that they or anyone else should have seen this coming. Who heard about this video prior to the attacks? The film itself is idiotic and the reaction to it is no less despicable than it was predictable. I'm confused about something..... If the purpose of having a well armed security detachment attached to our embassies is to keep our officials safe, why isn't there a pile of dead muslim fanatics in front of the embassy entrance? That is a good question, and I don't know the answer to it. I wish I did.

A Marine FAST of 50 Marines is on the way to Benghazi. OBviously, the government of Libya did nothing (if they did not assist) to stop this outrageous attack and murders. I hope the FAST has Orders to be disciplined and appropriate, but to NOT tolerate one Islamist entering the Consulate or harming any American or Staffer. Then they should be forceful in that, and shoot if those "red line" are violated. Time to stand up to that Islamist terroristic nonsense. W eneed a President who does not have an Apology Policy as part of his Foreign Policy!
