I have no information other than I read/heard somewhere that a US Congressman had gone over there with ERHC people.

I haven't really delved into the ERHC transactions other than to note that from what I've been told it was a sweet return on Coconino's investment: Return of 185,000 shares paid plus 445,000 shares ERHC at guaranteed minimum of $2 per share (144 restricted).

Evidently the cost and time associated with recovering oil/gas from Uinta was deemed too excessive to retain full ownership. Moreover, the Company said it was costing $25K a month to carry Uinta. It may have been disappointing to have to unload it but at least an interest with guaranteed value is retained. If ERHC can exploit the area, then Coconino will still receive benefit in the future, without the cost.
