Morsi's reaction is disappointing, even if predictable, given where Egypt is. I hope that he also tries to calm the crowd in addition to placating it with his request to "punish" the film maker. This is a moment of crisis for him too.
He coming to America this month to pick up his check for 1 billion dollars from the Obama administration.
And to press President Obama to release the blind sheikh, Omar Abdel-Rahman. The sheikh is an Egyptian serving a life sentence for trying to blow up the World Trade Center

The question is, how do you fight stateless terrorism that is Hydra-like, and has many heads?

Obviously we can't fight the stateless terrorism in a conventional manner. Going back to an earlier example, what would be expected if american terrorists were attacking foreign interests? The obvious answer is that the international community would hold the US government responsible. And rightfully so. It would be the US Government's responsibility to deal with the American terrorists. And if they didn't, the international community would have the right to attack the U.S.

If the Libyan and Egyptian governments don't get their people under control, then it should be seen as an act of war and they should expect the appropriate response.

It's time for the world to start expecting the governments of the muslim countries to fix their own problems or deal with the consequences.
