It looks like I'll probably have to get the more expensive adapter in order to use my iPhone 5 in the car. I'm not 100% positive that the after market car unit (Alpine) will control the 5. No question that the new connector is going to piss a lot of people off, and the ones it will piss off most are those who are most loyal to Apple products, because they're the ones who have a whole lot of accessories. I imagine that we'll all get over it, though. I wasn't able to watch the presentation yesterday, apart from the live blog coverage. I guess I'd better take a look at it.
