The high quality of the discussion here is certainly commendable. My analysis proceeds this way: given that YR 2K business will accelerate in the next two years, which of the MANY companies in this area will be the leaders? I think we will see increasing differentiation amongst the companies in this business, with the market identifying a "favoured" group and a "disfavoured group." My wager is that the highest fliers will be those firms who are already profitable, and who have business other than YR 2K to carry them beyond the millenium. My question to those more knowledgeable than I: Does ALYD fall into the top tier? Which companies definitely do? (MIFGY, KEA, AMSWA?) Are there distinctions to be made between so-called body shops and so-called automated providers?
