I did some more research on APAT over the weekend. IMHO, shorting this company is an unattractive idea for all of the reasons I stated before. Everything about it, particularly the $8 support level and the low volume, makes it unattractive. I fully understand the fundamental picture as its presently constituted, and appreciate the analysis which leads to the conclusion that it would be a worthy short candidate...but I feel that will be put to the wayside when production and markets kick in. Of course, a vigorous sales team goes without saying... It's mostly a gut feeling... Ed

Jim, There is quite a bit of significance in that post.. As APAT's concentration appears to be on WDM modular components for now, they could be a supplier to Cienna, or any and all of the companies trying to move into this VERY high growth area -- IMHO, of course. Thanks for again posting that release. It ties nicely with my re-post of Craig Crawford's data a couple of posts back. I have to concur, that any info I have seen does not support military contracts...though dI wouldn't toss out any possibilities. Project CMR -- I thought that came from you... will go back into my email bin and check the source.. I was writing from notes on my pad --"Check out Project CMR at APAT" --JN".. //OT// We are going to give it a try (golf) again on Weds, though rain is now being predicted. They could use some more moisture in the upper valley, especially for the irrigation dams.
