I'm sorry that I made you cry about my cat too, Christine! We still have one left named Bullseye.

I guess this all leads to the obvious question. Should we do the same for humans? Why is it unethical to let animals suffer with a terminal illness, yet repulsive to suggest ending a humans life, by their request, when there is no hope? I have watched 2 people go through a slow agonizing death in the last 2 years on a day by day basis. My partner died April, 15th gasping for air for weeks. He kept smoking up 'till the last day, not that smoking is addictive or anything. He wasn't allowed to have oxygen because of the smoking, and knew that, but preferred the cigarette to the oxygen.

I support Dr. Kevorkian, and so did he.
