Carey announces shareholder approval of REIT conversion and merger with Corporate Property Associates 15; increases quarterly distribution by 15% over prior Q ( WPC) 45.47 : Co reports that its proposed conversion to a REIT and merger with its publicly held, non-traded REIT affiliate, Corporate Property Associates 15 were approved by its shareholders and that the merger was also approved by the stockholders of CPA:15. The transactions are expected to close on September 28, 2012. Co's Board established its third quarter 2012 cash distribution at $0.65 per share, which equates to an annualized rate of $2.60 per share and represents a 15% increase over the previous quarter. The cash dividend is payable on Oct 16 to shareholders of record as of Oct 2 ..

SASKATOON, SK, May 15, 2013 /CNW/ - Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc. (PotashCorp) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved an increase of the company's quarterly cash dividend (from $0.28 per share to $0.35 per share), and declared a quarterly cash dividend of US $0.35 per common share payable August 2, 2013 to shareholders of record on July 12, 2013 ."The confidence we have in our ability to generate strong cash flow in the years ahead has enabled us to strengthen our dividend for the fifth time since 2011," said PotashCorp President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Doyle . "With a cumulative dividend increase of 950 percent in just over two years, the Board and management team remain committed to enhancing returns for our long-term shareholders."
