For the iPhone 5, we pretty much knew everything and the only thing that anyone is considering as missing is NFC. But, we already knew that it wouldn't have NFC. I also haven't given up on my theory that it is Bluetooth 4.0 that Apple is going wow people with eventually.
Agreed. The announcement wasn't very exciting, because of the lack of surprises, but there were no real disappointments, either. NFC is still useful only in very few situations, so I don't feel like I need it yet. And as you say, Apple may come up with a payment solution using Bluetooth 4.0.

I don't think we have anything to worry about with respect to sales. The iPhone 5 launch will, indeed, be the biggest one yet.

My impression after viewing the keynote is that people will find more and more to like about the iPhone 5 as they start getting their hands on it. Boring may the be the impression you get from afar, but I've a feeling this product will grow on you like a kudzu vine, in a good way, of course ;-)
