Yes, it does. I always have bet with the candidate that has the most money. But this time around, Obama has a shitload and Romney has a shitload. So if both candidates will approach a billion in spending on this campaign, does one candidate having more than a billion matter? I'm not sure, but the bankers in Romney's pocket may still be able to tip the balance.

Capitalism at work. Right?

Here's why I believe that is possible. Big Oil and Coal were able to sell the American people on the idea that climate change is a hoax and that human uses of fossil fuels do nothing to the environment. How? Lots and lots of money in advertising and in buying white paper reports from scientists. They basically pulled a Goebbels. So yes, money talks.

Except most Americans don't believe climate change is a hoax. Oops!

Most of the time, I believe that works against the American people. In this election, I'm hoping that money talks loud enough to get Romney elected, so that we can fire Bernanke. ;) God knows why Wall Street would want Bernanke gone, though. He's been VERY good to them.

You would hire a guy for president who can't even run a decent political campaign so you can get Bernanke fired? Seriously. That's really messed up. Now I am understanding how you were able to vote for Bush.
