What a great image that is. A red hot double event horizon into twin black holes, with the void looking back at us.

It reminds me of steel wire pouring red hot in a waterfall off the end of a rolling mill onto a conveyor over big cooling fans. That image is still welded into my mind from when I first saw it in 1975 in L'Orignal, Canada. It's still going strong - my Rando AWS32 [if I remember the product name correctly] was the first lubricant filling the first line when it started up producing wire. ivacorm.com

This is very similar to what it looked like: youtube.com People are amazing.

Somehow, that wire production is much more exciting than digging gold and melting it into bars to store back underground doing nothing.

Another of my customers, Noranda Metal Industries was building a nickel zirconium tube mill for supply to nuclear reactors. Jay Pineau was the engineer in charge and he chose my excellent Texaco lubricants to make it all happen.

Gold is useful to coat the antenna connectors in the Linksys WRT54GL routers which I currently buy by the hundred, but that's atoms thick rather than kilograms of the stuff.

I suppose I'm really hooked on things that do things, bootstrapping into Cyberspace and the future. Gold just can't get me going.

Meanwhile, you, your family, friends and associates are loading up with my dual core Qualcomm CDMA/OFDM wifi mobile Cyberspace Snapdragon technology.
