I agree. Probably an M-4 and a Glock each. Heavy vest etc is very obtrusive and I suspect Stevens wanted his Security to keep an unobtrusive profile. Stevens was a very decent, dedicated American servant who believed deeply in helping Libya. The kudos and affectionate remarks from everybody in Washington tell the story. And if they were ambushed, and it appears they were led into a trap, the two ex-SEALs likely went down quick. But I'll bet they were killing those pigs as they fell. Sad loss. All around. Just heard another report on TV about what the DOS knew 48 hours in advance. And with the DOS Gross Failure and Obama ducking Intel Briefs, this is a scandal and the whole Administration is responsible for all those deaths!! Simple truth. Obama and his whole leftist mob need to be gone. November is critical. I shudder to think what will happen if he is re-elected. He seems to not give a damn. He was stone cold yeterday in his initial speech about the killings. Almost like he was anouncing a Cabinet appointment or awarding some old jock a White House Award for being an old jock. He was more emotional and convincing when he berated a Boston Cop for arresting an arrogant, uncooperative Professor a few years back. That was seemingly important. The Embassy killings seemed rather routine!
