Thanks Gronieel2. I was unaware of the two short-term TIPS etfs you mentioned. I think this type of security will be increasingly worthwhile to have in the allocated Fixed Income portion of one's portfolio as the FED and other international central banks pump out their fiat currency into the markets. P

The VANGUARD website displays the oct 16 announcement of their new low volatility ST INFLATION PROTECTED SECURITIES FUND available as Investor, Admiral, and ETF shares. Perhaps Brinker will discuss the fund on an upcoming Moneytalk Program. With interest rate and inflation risks rising as the government spends $1.40 for every $1.00 collected in taxes, an, with the FED's recent announcement of For ever Quantitative Easing, I'd conclude this fund would be much desired by Moneytalk followers.
