RE:"His major economic policy failure was allowing Glass-Steagal to be repealed in 1999. For that I can't forgive him"

That and encouraging the FHA to give mortgages to people knowingly that couldn't pay them back really got the housing-derivative bubble moving.

So you are pretty forgiving.

The Clinton years otoh, seemed to be the last years of normalcy we've had. At least until the dot com bubble. I won't mention Monica, his impeachment, disbarment and assorted rape charges. If he could have just held out on those his legacy would have been made.

Other than Clinton raising taxes, and Obama not doing it, and Obama getting health care while Clinton didn't, and Clinton starting the hunt for OBL and Obama finishing it, there ain't that much difference between them.
Oh, and Hillary sleeps in foreign countries, but not the WH. Clinton was to the left of Obama.

What is different is that the R's let Clinton raise taxes 51-50. That was a mistake they corrected when Obama came in. They exchanged arithmetic for new math, where 50= 60 and/or 41.

Kosovo vs Libya, drones in Pakistan vs bombing aspirin factories in Somolia are pretty much the same.

2 other differences
Clinton did nothing about climate change, and Obama is reaping the price in droughts and fires. He's doing a bit. Actually mentioned the word the other say. Clinton presided when world oil production was increasing. Obama was lucky enuf to come in at a time world production has been flat for 3 years, now 7 years.

As for Raygun-Clinton, we are collapsing cuz of Reaganomics. He put us on the path to failure. Clinton was a speed bump, but he didn't get us off Reagan Road. Bush was just the final collapse, altho Obama is still pretty much following the same path cuz he is a Reagan Republican.
