IMO, unless you have a slow bleed, like a hostage crisis, foreign policy flare ups tend to support the CIC. Romney looks like a shrill Monday morning quarterback, and he's also in danger of looking like he's undermining his own country. Obama's path through this is a lot easier. Stay calm and carry on- look presidential. Romeny is fighting an uphill battle on this, and losing it rather badly right now- though his wingnut minions don't get that, but they can't understand anything beyond their own weird little alternate reality.
