Maybe the government should institute a Department of Free Speech to make determinations about what hurts peoples feelings and offends their beliefs in order to stamp out free speech abuse. That was the plot of a novel I read at the same time I was learning geometry. It's called 1984. Have you read it?

IMO You don't have a clue about Free Speech but your 7th grade geometry is impressive. I am assuming you passed and graduated. You are an example where a little bit of knowledge is dangerous.

The concept of God is not offensive- ridiculous, perhaps, as an idea anyone would use practically in govnerment, but hardly offensive. I'm not sure why you'd want to cast it that way? To elevate it in to some sort of noble crusade?

So if rights are not (as Locke and Hobbes pretty much said- are Hobbes and Locke the Red Queen too?) a contract we make with each other, and then agree to enforce, where do these rights you speak of really come from- I mean in any way you can show us, without recourse to a creature of the imagination not all of us may buy off on. Have you got anything? If not, all your blather is just mindless insulting drivel, meant to obscure the fact that really, at bottom, you've nothing to offer in this "discussion".
