We just ignore data we don't like. Life is much simpler that way. Ignorance is bliss and all that. We don't care that Durable Goods Orders are plunging as well. Lot's of statistics are plunging, but that's what gets the plunge protection team over at the Fed out and about, emitting new monetary flatulence. :) Here's the Fed to save the day with another fart of fairy dust. ------------------- Overlooked: Slumping Durable Goods Orders & QE3 Huh? What is wrong with you. Of course, I don't ignore all the data. However, if there is a reasonable explanation for why the data is out of whack like with oil and inflation, then I am not going to be too concerned. You want so badly for the economy to go splat so your boy can get elected that you can't see the forest for the trees. It just not going to work that way. Obama has done a lot of things right.......and while things are not where any of us want them, they are good enough so that Americans continue to have confidence in Mr. Obama. Your boys ran the country off its tracks 4 years ago..........Obama is bringing us back. Its as simple as that.
