Moslems have got the ratio about right with 4 women for each man, rather than the reverse.

My own painful experiments confirm that every time two women get together to hobnob they would like nothing better than one male ear and one testicle, for purposes largely unknown and causes mysteriously recorded. So that ratio seems correct.

Women do not want to have so many children. Men don't either. Women like one these days

It takes 2.1 children on the average per female to keep the population levels at a stable level. One child per woman would lead to a pretty serious population crash within a generation or two. And, like with trading, a loss of 50% would require a 100% gain in order to return to baseline.
